Our Services

The Broer Map Library provides many services to libraries and other organizations:

• Online Historic Maps - The library offers many of its historic maps online. Click here to view our online collection.
• Historic Map Index - We have the only, cross collection, online historic map search engine on the Internet. This search engine searches over 100 different collections and 60,000 different maps. Click Here to access the Historic Map Index.
• Google Earth Maps - We offer many of our historic maps for viewing in Google Earth. This allows for an easy comparison with past features and current features. Click Here to see a list of available maps.
• Offline Content - For libraries in rural areas without high-speed Internet access, we can provide you with a copy of our site for browsing and viewing our content.
• Map Research - The library will research the existence of, and locate, any map at your request.
• Links - The library maintains links to most prominent mapping & cartographic Websites (over 100 different collections as well).
• Computer Systems - In order to aide our members in having access to our collection and other services, we will help setup and aquire at reduced costs, computer systems. We can assist you with choosing a system, building & installing the system at no cost to the member. We can also assist in obtaining Internet access to our collection.
